This recipe makes me want to get out and get not one but various tubs of chocolate casein protein powder! Ben Tormey, from Propane Fitness gave me this recipe and what a recipe it is: it’s just seriously absurd – the combination of dark chocolate, blueberries, and cream with the puddingness of the casein? Well: AAAA! –> Chocolate madness in a bowl (I almost ate the bowl). Now, I made the recipe below with hot coconut milk (‘real’ coconut milk, i.e. from a can) and I didn’t chill it (I just couldn’t not eat it right then and there; it was overwhelming, what, with the melting chocolate, the cream, the berries in there, and the goodness of it all? well…) THANK YOU BEN! Over to you :-)
2 scoops chocolate casein
200ml coconut milk
Frozen/fresh blueberries (I prefer frozen)
Dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa solids)
1. Mix the casein powder with a small amount of water until it forms a thick pudding like consistency.
2. Then, add in the coconut milk. If you like, you can add cinnamon or whatever else you like to spice it with here.
3. Break in dark chocolate pieces and mix them in the pudding.
4. Leave that to chill in the fridge until it’s firm and serve with berries and a bit of cream on top –> AAA!
