High Protein, Low Fat Mac & ‘Cheese’
This is my version of a high protein “mac and cheese”
cooked whole wheat macaroni
30g pea protein powder
100mL oat milk (plus some warm water)
pinch of turmeric
12g nutritional yeast
1. Mix the protein powder and milk with the macaroni until you have a ‘mac and cheese’ consistency.
2. Add some turmeric for the yellow color (because appearance matters) and sprinkle the whole thing with nutritional yeast (it’s also great with Parmesan though).
