After a few months of seeing The Turkey Sandwich post I have been meaning to make that particular bread. The result, its come out perfect! Id upload pictures on here, but not sure I am able?
I got 6 slices out of it and just ate 2 of them to try it out taste wise. I felt it was a little bit on the dry side, but not unpleasantly. I thought it was going to end up a disaster as I used Baking Powder instead of Baking Soda, but its fine.
Going to have the other four slices at work tomorow.
The next one I make I was thinking, what if I didnt put any Baking Powder in? Would it retain its liquid volume when cooked? I.e. not rise in the center? I wanted to up the fibre content too, how much Psyllium Husks should I add?
