Secretly Slutty Protein Brownies – by Colby
We all know slutty brownies, right?! Cookie layer, oreo layer, brownie layer ALL IN ONE BITE. Yeah. Heaven. But the guilt…… Well, that’s where I come in J meet the SECRETLY SLUTTY BROWNIE. Same as the old: cookie, oreo, brownie, but completely clean, healthy, full of protein, and just as yummy! And just to make it a little more amazing, each brownie is only 82 calories with 8 grams of carbs, 2 grams of fat and 6 grams of protein. Talk about a slice of heaven! This recipe looks complicated, but it’s not J It just looks like a lot because there are three separate layers to mix.
Ingredients
Cookie Layer:
- 1 cup chickpeas
- 1 egg
- ½ cup almond milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp butter extract
- 1 scoop Try About Time Birthday Cake Whey
- 1 tsp coconut sugar
- ¼ cup oat flour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 2 TB dark chocolate chips
Directions
- Grind down chickpeas in a magic bullet with egg, milk, and extracts.
- In a separate bowl, mix the rest of the ingredients.
- Slowly combine wet ingredients with dry and pour into the bottom of a square baking dish.
Oreo Layer:
- 1 ½ Cookies and Cream Quest Bar
- ½ cup almond milk
- ½ cup 2% cottage cheese
- 1 scoop vanilla whey
Directions
- In a magic bullet, blend ¼ cup almond milk with cottage cheese and vanilla whey.
- In a microwave safe bowl, break up the quest bars into small chunks, combine with ¼ cup almond milk and microwave for 1 minute. Stir. Microwave for 30 more seconds, stir. Keep doing this until the quest bar is melted and a liquid has formed.
- Mix the melted quest mixture with the cottage cheese mixture.
- Pour over cookie dough in the baking dish.
Ingredients
Brownie Layer:
- 2 scoops chocolate whey
- 2.5 TB raw cacao powder
- 1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
- ½ medium zucchini, chopped
- ¼ cup oat flour
- 1 egg
- ½ tsp vanilla
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- 1 stevia packet
Directions
- Combine all ingredients in a magic bullet.
- Pour on top of the oreo and cookie mixture in your baking dish.
- Make sure the layers stay separate!
Final Directions
Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes. Let cool, devour!
