Protein Pow Cookie DoughHi! There’s something I need to tell you but I don’t know where to begin! It’s big news. I haven’t said a word about this on here for so long and now I’m a bit lost for words!

Basically… the team and I have been working on a brand new range of products for over a year now: day in and day out, for what feels like an eternity (and those of you who’ve taste-tested our doughs versions 1, 2, 3… 150 can attest to this), we’ve been in our test kitchen  working on creating the world’s best ready-to-eat snack: cookie dough, in convenient grab-and-go bar form.

A cookie dough that’s high in protein, gluten-free, plant-based, high-fibre, sugar-free, and 100% ready to bake into protein cookies (just flatted it, throw it in the oven and in less than 10 minutes… POW! Cookies): an edible dough of dreams 🤗

Protein Cookie Dough BarsWe’ve gone through so many cookie dough versions on our journey to here. It wasn’t easy, let me tell you! Making a veggie protein-based cookie dough that a) tastes amazing, b) can be baked into genuinely awesome cookies, c) features no sugar or artificial ingredients, d) has a good amount of protein was a proper challenge. But if there’s something I love, it’s a good challenge.

I’m happy to announce that we managed to solve said challenge and POW! Said cookie dough is launching this month and landing in all Whole Foods stores (in the UK first, US next) and several other retailers within the next couple of months 🎉 

As well as our website of course, which is going to experience a little facelift next week – keep your eyes peeled for that 👀 Aren’t our bars so cute? We worked on the design for quite a white too. We wanted to capture the playfulness of Protein Pow and the quirky excitement of our cookie dough. The flavors I decided we should launch first are also my favorite: fudge brownie, snickerdoodle, and of course chocolate chip. Which one would you go for first?

Protein Cookie Dough BarsRight now, I’m a combination of excited, nervous, and exhilarated about it all. Going into food, proper food, is what I envisaged for POW from day one and here we are! Launching in Whole Foods Market next month. Oh la la la, I can’t wait to share our next chapter with you. It all feels quite surreal at the moment 🙂

I also can’t wait for you to start playing with it too! It’s perfect not just to eat on the go, as you would a bar, and to turn into cookies. It’s also fab to roll into balls to make truffles, coat in melted chocolate, chopped and mixed with ice cream, used to make cookie pies, oh! The possibilities are endless.
