Spicy Chicken Protein Pizza (Gluten-Free)


Protein Pizza – it’s one of the easiest things you can make with your protein powder. It’s also one of the tastiest! And it’s great because it satisfies any and all pizza cravings, allowing you to stick to your healthy-eating diet without feeling at all deprived. What’s not to love about that, right?

Protein Pizza RecipeIngredients for the crust

1/8 cup            Pea Protein Powder
1/2 cup            Liquid Egg Whites
2 tbsp  Coconut Flour
1/8 cup            Rolled Oats (Gluten Free)
1-2 tsps           Water

Ingredients for the toppings

1/2      Chicken Breast (cooked)
2 tbsp  Tomato Paste
1          Tomato (sliced)
1 tsp    Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp    Pepper
1/8 cup            Cheddar Cheese


Screen Shot 2014-11-11 at 18.48.051. Blend all your crust ingredients together until you get a sort of ‘dough’ that you can shape with your hands.

2. Flatten this dough and fry it up on a nonstick pan. Pretend you’re making a thick savory pancake here so (carefully) flip it when it has browned on one side.

Screen Shot 2014-11-11 at 18.48.523. Add your toppings, beginning always with tomato paste and ending with the cheese. I topped my pizza with chicken, tomatoes, dried parsley, red chile, green chile, and pepper.

4. Finally, stick it under your grill or broiler at medium or high heat. What you’re doing here is melting your cheese and ‘fusing’ all the flavors together so keep an eye on the pizza and take it out when everything looks done (it takes about 8 minutes or so) and BAM! It’s ready.
