Orange & Vanilla Protein Pancakes (Gluten-Free)

Protein pancakes are the ultimate high protein breakfast, they’re easy to make, delicious and the macros are on point. 

We’ve seen protein pancakes done hundreds of ways over the years but here’s a totally new one we hadn’t seen before, Orange and Vanilla Protein Pancakes! Let us tell you right now, this recipe is a winner.

Lets dive in:



Ingredients

1/4 cup vanilla whey protein powder 
2 whole eggs
1 egg white 
1/4 cup almond milk (or cartooned coconut milk)
1/4 cup ground almonds
1/4 cup buckwheat flakes (can sub with oats)
1 tbsp orange zest

Directions

1. Whisk everything together.

2. Fry up on a non-stick pan further non-sticked with some coconut oil or low-calorie cooking spray (we suggest you make them small so they’re easier to flip).

3. Top with syrup, fruit, nut butter and/or bacon and BANG! That’s breakfast sorted.

Macros per 1/2 batch: 299kcals, 25g protein, 11g carbs and 17g fat.
