It’s a question I get a lot: “Anna, what IS protein FLUFF?” If you’ve never had it, it’s actually hard to describe it. “Protein Fluff is like… cloud!” I always say, “It’s like eating light, airy, and fluffy heaven!” I get really excited when I describe it too, to the point that people who’ve never tried it look at me like some sort of fluff-obsessed maniac. “What could POSSIBLY be THAT good!?” they wonder. Well, I’ll tell you what: FLUFF.
• 1 cup of frozen blackberries
• 1/4 cup of whey (vanilla or berry)
• 1/8 cup of milk (any will do)
• 1 tsp of vanilla stevia, vanilla flavdrops, or toffee flavdrops (this is optional but UNGH! delicious!)
Directions: Chuck everything in a bowl and, using a handheld (aka an immersion) blender, blend it together. Once it’s all looking smooth – like ice cream – electrically whisk it for 4-5 minutes. This is where the magic happens, as your mix starts to gain crazy volume and fluff up. Here’s a video I made showing you the whole process. The final step is just get a spoon out and dig into absolute protein deliciousness!!!!!!!!!!!! Part of the beauty of fluff too is the fact that it has amazing macros and is supremely filling. You are, after all, eating a whole salad-bowl’s worth of the stuff! And all it contains is berries, a tiny bit of milk, and a scoop of whey!
Macros per one entire salad-bowl’s worth of blackberry fluff: 204.6kcals 19.9g carbs (out of which 7g is fiber!) 29.3g protein 2g fat.
