This Dark Chocolate Protein Bread contains no grains and it is absolutely delicious. It is the perfect protein bread to enjoy as a snack alongside a cup of tea or coffee! Or a a sweet little dessert after dinner or lunch.
Ingredients
3 cooked beets
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup chocolate whey protein
4 tablespoons coconut flour
1 cup cartoned coconut milk
1/4 cup goji berries
Directions
1. Blend – with a food processor or handheld (i.e. immersion) blender.
2. Pour – the batter in a silicone bread pan or a brownie pan if you want to make brownies.
3. Bake – At 170 C (338 F) until your knife comes out clean when inserted into the brownies (approx. 40 mins).
4. Eat – with sweet protein frosting or without.
