One day, someone, somewhere, will come out with white hemp protein powder. Why? Because a lot of people get put off by the greeness of their shakes et al. I personally don’t mind, in fact, I like drinking green shakes and eating green pancakes. If you want to make these babies but don’t have hemp protein or are not a fan of it, or want to just play around with using other powders, try subbing the hemp with vanilla casein or even pea protein. The results are pretty much the same (the only difference being that you will end up with a nice and normal-looking pancake but – all that hemp goodness).
1/2 cup egg whites
1/2 cooked sweet potato
1/2 a banana
1/8 cup (unsweetened, unflavored) hemp pow
Blend all ingredients together and pancake fry them on a nonstick.
