See, I decided not to use oats or quinoa flakes (or any type of grain for that matter); I wanted to use freshly made brazil nut butter and not peanut butter; I used casein as the primary protein powder + a tiny bit of (orange) whey and also… I used beans (!)
This recipe goes to show you can literally do whatever you want with your protein bars :-) Without further ado, here’s the recipe :-))))))))
70g unsalted cooked black beans
32g chocolate casein protein powder
12g ground almonds
5g orange whey protein powder
5g coconut flour
13g brazil nut butter
10g goji berries
2 tablespoons coconut milk
1. Mix it all up.
2. Use your hands. Make rectangles.
3. Dip them in melted 90% chocolate (23g’s worth of chocolate).
4. Freeze them. GO. CRAZY.
