Whey Protein Coconut Pancakes

If there is ONE thing I really can’t shout out loud enough for it’s these guys. I didn’t really measure things out too precisely BUT the general gist is this:


22g coconut flour
200ml oat milk
1 scoops vanilla whey
1 whole large-ish egg
1/4 teaspoon honey
some baking soda
teaspoon orange rind (this is key)
a splash of vanilla essence
some cinnamon


1. Add first the whey to the flour and baking soda.

2. In a separate bowl, mix the egg, milk, honey, orange rind, vanilla and cinnamon. Once mixed well, add the egg et. al. to the flour/whey/soda [One COULD just ignore all this and throw it all together though].

3. Once the batter is nice and thick, cook them on a nonstick, a spoonful at a time. If you have maple syrup around: drown them. Since I didn’t, topped mine with a banana and a tsp of Coconut oil.
