This recipe uses quinoa flakes rather than oats, as quinoa has more protein, less carbs and a lot more fibre! Quinoa flakes also taste great. If, however, you don’t have quinoa flakes, don’t worry! Simply substitute with gluten-free or regular ground oats.
Ingredients
70 grams of peanut butter (unsalted, unsweetened)
30g Vegan Protein (chocolate flavoured Vegan Wondershake would be ideal here)
30g chocolate whey protein
11g 100% cocoa powder
41g quinoa flakes
16g almonds
10g hemp seeds
Directions
1. Mix it all together, add water until its all doughy.
2. Make balls and roll them in cinnamon (roll them in a mixture of cinnamon, cocoa and chilli powder for an amazing taste explosion).
Macros per Serving (out of 15)
64.2 kcals, 3.1g carbs (1.1g fibre), 5.4g protein, 2.2g fat
Notes:
Make this recipe with vanilla whey, add vanilla essence, some orange rind, cinnamon and desiccated coconut to the dough and and roll them in coconut/cinnamon for a ‘white protein truffle.’

Yummm truffles does sound delightful 😉
Oh my god try them, it’s nuts how yummy they turned out!
I could eat about 400 of these, i’m sure of that.
Seriously, you gotta try em. The Chili adds such an awesome UNNNNGH! and they’re rich enough that you can’t really have 400 😉
Yum! Protein balls! They look delicious!
truffles, truffles, hehehe 🙂
Cool blog! I think I need to get a bit more protein into my diet. That quinoa bread looks fab!!
