just how much cake is enough?

    being a cakeaholic i can easily polish of a whole one,however,with fittness,diet and muscle in mind what is the limits for average gym workouts twice a week?one slice two,three a day? i was recently sent a news feed for slimmersworld which had an enormous pile of pancakesmust of been 6-8 and of course plenty of fruit? i was puzzled.

    I think it would depend completely on the cake and it’s composition BUT what I usually say to cake lovers who have a weakness towards cake and tend to polish an entire one off is this:

    You have three options:

    1. Make sure someone’s with you to share it. So, make the cake for friends and family and then just have a slice or even two. They’ll eat the rest.

    2. Have a slice or two and freeze the rest of the slices. That way, when you feel like cake or you know you’ll be craving it soon, you can defrost a single slice.

    3. Make individual cakes using a mini cake mold or mini bread molds (http://proteinpow.com/2014/02/a-wizards-chocolate-hazelnut-and.html). You an also use THIS awesome technique: http://proteinpow.com/2013/03/carrot-walnut-protein-carrot-cake-with.html to make just two slices of cake!
