Hi babies. This post is just to alert you to the fact that my Protein Cannoli recipe is OUT at bodybuilding.com. You can access it by clicking here. A few extra notes though:
I used a large raw cannelloni to give my protein cannoli their shape but if you want to get all fancy you can always get a proper cannoli mold (aka a cannoli form). They look like this.
I also want to point out that I pre-cooked the mix before rolling and frying it up on a nonstick. This is just one way of doing it – you can also make a thicker mix (something that’s more like a dough) and roll that on the cannoli mold before frying it.
Both ways work fine. The way I did it is just a bit easier to handle because the second way (the dough way) can be trickier to get right. But I’ll upload a recipe for ‘the dough way’ soon too, just so you can compare and continue driving along your cannoli journey.
Whatever you do though.. don’t forget the cannoli.
