Hi babies! This post is just to alert you to the fact that my Protein Cannoli recipe is out at bodybuilding.com and if you haven’t seen it yet, well… ehem ehem, check it out – and be sure to print it out too. Here are a few additional notes:
I used a large raw cannelloni to give my protein cannoli their shape but if you want to get all fancy you can always get a proper cannoli mold (aka a ‘cannoli form’). They look like this.
I also want to point out that I pre-cooked the mix (like a pancake) before rolling and frying it up on a nonstick pan.
This is just one way of doing it though – you can also make a thicker mix (something that’s more like a dough) and roll that on the cannoli mold before frying it raw.
Both ways work fine. The way I did it is just a bit easier to handle because the second way (the dough way) can be trickier to get right.
Whatever you do though.. don’t forget the cannoli!
