Hemp Protein Pancakes with Smoked Mackerel & Mushrooms

Ah, the versatility of hemp never ceases to amaze me. The stuff is grand.


122g liquid egg whites
45g quark
21g hulled hemp seeds
20g unsweetened hemp protein powder
(I used some grated nutmeg, salt and pepper here)


1. On these guys went went one whole diced white onion and 250g of mushrooms which were fried together on coconut oil + soy sauce.

2. Layered the pancake with some mayo, mixed the onion and mushroom with 83g of smoked mackerel and boom: goede eetlust!

Macros per Serving:

For both pancakes with the mackerel et al =
63g protein
38g carbo (11.6g fiber)
38g fat

the pancakes solo =
34g protein
13g carbo (8.6g fiber)
