Chocolate Chip Protein Bars – by Christina

This blog just got a whole lot more exciting because Christi
na, who used to blog at It intermingles exceptionally yummy recipes (and pictures that expose my laptop’s screen to the danger of being eaten) with lots of gym chat (which tend to make me wanna reach through the screen and forcefully pat Christina on the back for repeatedly kicking arse). In addition, every now and then, you get to catch a glimpse of the world’s cutest cat (at least here the screen faces only the risk of being movingly petted hehe). All in all, these are exciting times for Protein Pow(d)er :-) so without further ado,

–>voici sarecette:


60g quick oats
40g vanilla protein powder
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 egg whites
1 tablespoon agave nectar
1 tablespoon coconut oil
4 squares of 80% dark chocolate
chopped into small pieces


1. Mix all ingredients together well and add water if you need to for the protein powder. You may add some sweetener too, depending on how sweet your protein is.

2.Make sure to spray your cooking pan well so that the mixture does not stick and bake for 25 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit aka 204 degrees Celsius.

3. When done, cut into 6 bars! :-D
