Chestnut Protein Pancakes with Berry Gravy

Here is my recipe for chestnuts protein pancakes with berry gravy. I guess since it kind of high in carb and law in fat if is more appropriate for post workout meal. Hope you and the readers will like it!

Pancake Ingredients:

50g roasted peeled chestnuts (about 8)
1 scoop vanilla whey powder
4 egg whites
3 tablespoons almonds milk (even a bit more to make it more airy but not to much)
1.5 teaspoon organic carob powder (optional but recommended)

Directions:

Mix all in a blender. Grease a non stick pan with tsp coconut oil and pour the mix on it.

Gravy Ingredients:

1 cup mix berries
0.25 cup sweet red wine
Juice from 1 lemon and 1 orange
0.5 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon organic kuzu

Directions:

In a pan mix all the ingredients besides the kuzu on medium heat until the fluids gets thicker. For more thickness boil the kuzu in 1-0.5 cup water a pour little bit in the gravy. It is sweet enough but you can add stevia for extra sweetness.

Gravy
Since it is most sugary ingredients and it depends on how much you use I guess it is like the macros of sugar aka 1 tsp is 5g carbs!
